About Us

Kenny Boddye, Founder & CEO

Kenny brings a unique blend of private sector marketing expertise, public sector renewable energy advocacy work and technological innovation to KB Solutions. Before founding the company, he spent fifteen years in the insurance industry cultivating skills ranging from underwriting, risk management, marketing, business development, administration and operations.

Kenny holds a degree in Political Science from Georgetown University where he served as the Lab Manager for the McDonough School of Business Technology Center. He is currently serving is second term as Occoquan District Supervisor on the Prince William Board of County Supervisors; he authored the county's first clean energy goals, and helped spearhead many sustainability, clean energy, and resilience initiatives. He was also instrumental in the streamlining and reforming of solar installation permitting processes in the county. His vision for KB Solutions stems from his belief that powerful AI tools should be accessible to small and medium-sized renewable energy businesses, not just industry giants.

When not working to advance solar adoption through better technology or serving his community, Kenny can be found spending time with his wife, five children, and dog, Arlo.
